Privacy policy
This policy explains how Firmstack, a division of Creative Code Inc. (“Firmstack”, “we”) handles personal information collected through https://firmstack.ca. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you request a workflow audit we collect your name, firm name, firm size, role, email address, phone number (optional) and the description you provide.
- Analytics. With your consent, we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful. It does not use advertising cookies or track you across other sites.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the site secure and available.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request, schedule and prepare for your audit, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information and we do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the site and respond to requests (hosting, email delivery, scheduling and analytics). They may only use the information to provide their service to us. Some providers may store data outside Canada, in which case it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
How long we keep it
Audit requests are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement and any period required by law. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can decline analytics cookies using the banner on this site. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@firmstack.ca.
Client data in systems we build
This policy covers this website only. How we handle your firm's client data inside systems we build is described on our Security page and governed by the agreement we sign with your firm.
