Busy season,without the chasing.
We build the systems that collect the documents, answer the phone and file the PDFs, around the software your firm already uses.
- Works with what you already use
- Your accounts, your data
- Built in Toronto
Example of a busy season document tracker. A table lists clients and the documents they owe, with statuses of received, waiting and reminded. Documents arrive on their own, reminders go out automatically, and a live percentage of documents received climbs. Tabs show clients with progress bars and completed returns ready for pickup.

What we build
Every firm has a different bottleneck. These are the ones we fix most.
Document collection portal
Clients log in, see exactly what they owe you, scan it with their phone, and watch the checklist tick off.
A phone screen shows a client's 2025 checklist with three of seven documents received. The client taps donation receipts, scans the receipt with the camera, the page is straightened and saved, and the checklist ticks to four of seven.

The free audit
How it works.
Short form
Five minutes. Firm size, clients, tools, and where it hurts.
Discovery call
30 to 45 minutes. We walk through where your time goes and you rate what matters.
We do the research
We check your software's APIs, the privacy rules for your province, and what it will cost to run.
Plan meeting
A written proposal with a fixed price, the tech stack, a timeline, and a compliance breakdown. You decide on the call.
Build and run it
We build on fake data, you test it, then it goes live. Most firms keep us on monthly to run, fix and improve it.
Even if you never build anything with us, you keep the written breakdown of where your firm is losing time.
Ownership
Your data stays yours. Written into the contract.
- Every account opened in your firm's name, on your firm's card
- Built and tested on fake data first
- Client documents stored in Canada, encrypted
- The source code is yours, and never resold to another firm
- Take it fully in house whenever you ask
Your firm
Accounts. Code. Data.
We run it
What most firms choose
Monthly. We monitor, fix and improve it as your firm changes.
You take it over
Any time you ask
You reset every password, we remove our access and confirm it in writing.
Whoever runs it, the accounts and the code are in your firm's name from day one.
What about the law?
PIPEDA is the federal privacy law for private sector firms. It applies in provinces without their own private sector law, including Ontario. We build to meet it: collect only what the workflow needs, use it only for that purpose, protect it in transit and at rest. We recommend your counsel confirms this for your firm.
Alberta and British Columbia have their own private sector laws. Sending data to a service provider for processing counts as a use, not a disclosure. Alberta also requires firms to tell clients if a service provider is outside Canada, which is one reason we keep processing in Canada. We recommend your counsel confirms this for your firm.
Quebec's Law 25 sets its own rules on consent, privacy officers and assessments before personal information leaves the province. Systems for Quebec firms are scoped with that in mind. We recommend your counsel confirms this for your firm.
Section 230 is about where books and records are kept. It is a storage question, not a processing question. Client documents in our builds are stored in Canada. We recommend your counsel confirms this for your firm.
Recording a call requires notice, a stated purpose and consent. Our phone systems play a consent announcement before recording starts and log consent against each recording. We recommend your counsel confirms the wording for your province.
How pricing works
One fixed price. Most of it after it works.
Fixed price, quoted after the audit.
Scoped for your firm, not a plan off a shelf.
15% to start. The rest when it works.
The balance is due at handover, after you have tested it.
One invoice a year to run it, or pay the providers directly with no markup.
Supabase, Vercel, Telnyx and the rest, at their own rates.
If something breaks because of how we built it, we fix it free.
When you pay
- Accounts opened
- Core working
- Documents
- Integrations
- Handover
15% is due when you sign the contract. This is the only payment before work starts.
85% is due at handover, after you have tested the system on your own data and it works.
The firm you'd have if you could actually staff it.
30 to 45 minutes. You leave with a written breakdown either way.
FAQ
Questions owners ask us
No. We build around what you use. Where a client portal is needed, it sits alongside your tools and nothing is migrated.
We build the parts they don't do and connect them to what you have.
You do. The accounts, the code, and the data.
It keeps running on your accounts. The source code is yours and any developer can take it over.
In Canada, encrypted. Details on the Security page.
SecuritySome won't, and that's fine. Paper and phone still work. Reminders go by text and email, pickup calls go automatically, and paper can be scanned at your front desk into the same system.
Most systems take 3 to 11 weeks.
A fixed price after the audit, based on what we build. You pay 15% to start and the rest when it works.
No. Anything that needs judgment is drafted for a person on your team to approve.
So have many of the firms we talk to. You see it working on fake data before real data goes in, and 85% isn't due until you've tested it.
